Salutations, summoners!
It's been a long while since I last did a blog update and I apologize for that. Final Fantasy news have been rather stark so there hasn't been much to discuss.
But now there's some stuff to talk about so let's get right to it!
Final Fantasy XV is FINALLY coming out after 10 years of waiting. Release date is slated for September of this year so break out your PS4!
In addition, there's also a Final Fantasy XV companion anime known as Brotherhood: Final Fantasy XV. It consists of 5 episodes that serve as the prequel to the game. The first episode came out on March 30, 2016 and is expected to finish in September in time for the game's release. The episodes can be viewed on YouTube (for free) as well as Crunchyroll.
Thus far, I am liking the modern medieval vibe of the game. However, as I am lacking of a PS4, I sadly won't be able to join you guys in enjoying the game until much later. Don't worry about discussing spoilers, as I'm sure my friends will spoil the game for me anyhow.
In other news, club member Typthis has nominated this blog entry from the Final Fantasy Lore blog to be featured in Summons-Sanctuary. It's a neat tidbit of information that explains the lore behind each kind of summon in the Final Fantasy franchise and is worth a read.
Signing off,
